*nods* Probably. An alias works fine except for when you need to show ID to pick up a package. Like for a registered piece of mail or something.
Her address, however, should be accurate. But I don't know of anyway to look up a phone number using only an address and no name. (Though even that won't work if the number is unlisted.) |

I don't think you all understood the suggestion of how to use anywho.com -- I was going to put in the shipping address and see what came up, not the name since she has proven that the name means nothing!
Can anyone who shipped to her use that addy to look what her name really is? I am starting to wonder if MLPs are the only thing she scams on, I mean she is trying to be crafty with her aliases and all and we know how easy it is to blend in here (trolls have taught us that!). I am wondering if she has targeted any other collector groups? It might be that the police could really have a field day if they searched her house! People like that rarely limit themselves to one venue, and she didn't talk the lingo like a real MLP collector, but rather her communications reminded me of talking about Magic cards with commons/uncommons and stuff like that. Good Luck all, and I hope she sees this thread and sweats a bit over the idea that we are trying to find the best way to put her in jail if she doesn't fork over everyone's stuff! --SilverCygnet I am really tired of how crummy people like her make trading so tense for everyone else.... |

I'm sorry you're all going through this. I had a great trade with her weeks ago. Everything went smoothly. I wonder what happened to make her decide to do this.

OK, Seriously Fishy...
THere are several french names residing at 56 Bouvier Ave, but there doesn't seem to be a residence at 52 Bouvier Ave. THere is a Michelle L'Hereaux age 39 who lives at 56 Bouvier. THere is also a Maurice, and a Michael with the same last name. THere is also Denise, Debrah, and Dawn Demers listed there. There is also Jeanine, and Jacquline Robidoux. There is also Nancy and Norman Courtemanche.... Seems like a pattern to me, but what do you guys think? French names could be a big family, but all with matching names?? Seems a bit fishy to me. And you all might think I am nuts, but I really thought it seemed like I was corresponding with a guy, not a woman. Just the turn of phrase, or something. Gotta wonder! Police call anyone? --SilverCygnet P.I. |

Everyone really should leave mysticwinds some negative feedback everywhere you can find! I think it's really important and it doesn't take much time!
I'm so far the only one that has left her a negative at Fiona's Feedback Forum and MLPArena - and she has also a positive feedback on both the places! Please let people know that you have been scammed so it won't happen to them too! |

Out of curiosity - what was she supposed to be sending you all in trade for your ponies?
I was supposed to be getting MOC Silver Swirl in trade for my Dazzle. |

It's funny, well, maybe not....but the ponies she was "supposed" to be buying from me were Baby Lollipop, Complete Tex, and Complete 4-Speed. Which I have heard others mentioning transactions with those same exact ponies with her. Guess she's real persistant about getting those ponies she wants.

I really hope you all keep an eye out on ebay for your stuff--It would be excellent if we could figure out which seller and go from there
Well, sorry nobody seems to be able to do anything with those names I found, but I think it is worth contacting the police regarding the stolen items--might fall under mail fraud. All it takes is you all getting a list together and one volunteering to call RI police. Seems pretty easy to me. Also I would be very curious to know if she had a forward set up on that mailing address, since from what I could find, #52 doesn't exist- it goes from 33 to 56 (where all the alliterated French names were). Definately worth talking to your postmaster. just a thought (and it makes me boil to know she's gotten away with it so far --SilverCygnet |
