The company I worked for said they used to do the billing, but kept running into trouble with the payments. They would not get paid for work done for 2-3 months, and how do you keep employees paid with that system? It sounded like to really make good money as your own boss, you have to have multiple accounts so you get steady enough work. If you only contract to one or two places, you can run into not enough work, or if they do have that lag in paying, it can be a month or more before a paycheck.

I really thought about it, but like being a realtor, you have to work very hard in the beginning to get a good enough base to get the money to start rolling in. I just don't have the time/energy/knowledge to jump into something like that. I can't afford spending the hundreds for the course to get certified, then find out I can't get enough work, or I should have done this instead of that.

Hopefully you can find someone actively doing this for a job, but all the things I checked to get started were really discouraging to me.
