I started posting to the usenet newsgroup at-mlp in 2001, where some of the oldbies there used to refer to the Dream Castle message board.
There are some older members hangin around still, but I think most of us that are currently regulars joined between 2001-2004. The g3s brought a lot of new people, but recent polling here has shown that most of us die-hard MLP collectors are primarily into the original ponies.

Gawds, you've missed a lot!
There's now the mlp arena, and the playhouse and a score of other specialty pony boards out there. Map of Ponyland still hasn't caught up.

Mylittleponycollector.com is giving www.dreamvalley-mlp.com some serious competition, both now featuring a wide range of mlp products from all three generations.

If you use a PC I hope you have a firewall set up, because there is spyware on this board that will royally mess up your hard drive.
Since losing gold status here there's been these annoying popup ads.
Buying ezsupporter will get rid of them, or you can download & install mozilla firefox browser.

O.O There was recently a topic here about that, for the benefit of the people who were not members yet and missed all the fighting. We talked about Sahdows, and the HOOF and HORN petitions, and flamewars that erupted. BTW, Shadows website is still there, but only the main page and a links/banners page. They claim victory at stopping the G2 line and bringing about the G3s.
G3s are loved by many, and are selling really well. They're proving to be as addictive as their 80's ancestors. Consider yourself warned! LoL

The people who turned me on to MLPs were a pair of identical twins, named Christy & Megan. They had a 'Gothic My Little Pony' page full of customs they made using Photoshop. Their page is still around, if you search for gothic mlp you'll find it, along with a ton of other links circa 1999-2001.

Customs! I stink at it, but I love to see what others can do with a little paint, hair and a manky old pony body.
