Upon seeing that my current space is not big enough at all (not even the living room!) to display my mlp collections, I`d like to see some photos of how you guys were able to make room for displaying your collections. :3

I stuff the ponies all together in rows. I use old video tapes to make a "shelf" in the back, so you can see the faces of the back row. I keep the playsets closed up except the nursery, and all little accessories and things like that I put in plastic bags and pin to the walls. That way I'm not losing anything and you can see all my little things also. Petites and First Born are on the wall, with my MOC ponywears, MIP baby Stocking, etc.

I'll have to post my pics tomorrow. But I made myself a small display place this past Saturday. We have an extra bedroom in the house we are renting. It was FULL of boxes and Christmas decorations. (I should have taken a before pic) Anyway, I moved out all the boxes and put the decorations in the basement. Then I put a patio table in there (which I painted white) and made a tablecloth from an old sheet. I also made a "table" from my Frilly Frocks box. ANd another small "table" from a box covered in more of the old sheet.
Like I said I'll have to post my pics tomorrow. But before this all my Enchanted Kingdom horses were in a box and all my ponies were in plastic drawers. But now I can put some things on display and the room is now guest friendly. My hubby also has his guitars and a small amp in this room. And we keep the ironing board in there as well. Also, there is a twin-size inflatable mattress in there. So, there is not a lot on display, but it's great to have some of my things out. ~Wystearya |

Here are a bunch of pictures from my collection. The G1s are kept in a glass front oak cabinet that my mom gave me. I have them organized by sets and sort of by year as well. I left spaces for ones that I am missing from each set so that I wont have to move everyone when I get a new pony. The ponies in the back are on plexiglass supported by cheap glass cups from walmart. On top of the cabinet I used a plain spice rack for the flutters/wingers/MO babies.
![]() ![]() ![]() My UK and Italian G1s are on a shelf above my desk: ![]() My G3s are mostly contained in a second oak cabinet (again from my mom), and are organized by colors of the rainbow: ![]() ![]() And some of the overflow along with the G2s are on shelves in the closet: ![]() And all of my plushies hang out on the daybed with Frilly: ![]() My mom made me the blanket as well as all of the pillows and some curtains which I don't have photos of right now. I also have a wall of Breyers in my pony room that are not pictured. I really don't know what to do with the new G3s that are coming out. Right now the Sunny Scents and Perfectly Ponies that I've found are hanging out on my desk until I can get another shelf up or something. Someone suggested hanging them from the ceiling, lol! |

Wow!!!! You have soo many ponies, and so neatly displayed! I'm living between two houses at the mo, so some are here and there, and all just shoved somewhere high. When I get a house of my own with my bf, Im gonna use a similar display idea, I think

So far it looks like the key thing in displaying the collections are shelves, shelves, shelves.
